Featured Coins

In 1994 the island nation of Cuba authorized the issuance of a series of coins featuring indigenous wildlife and named it Fauna del Caribe (Caribbean Fauna). Due to the unprecedented success they had with that series, in 1997 they created the Flora del Caribe series of coins featuring indigenous plant life. As with the earlier series, these coins are rarely seen in the secondary market and are avidly sought after by collectors worldwide.
